Mold grows almost anywhere
2/25/2022 (Permalink)
Mold can happen nearly anywhere. According to the EPA website molds reproduce by means of tiny spores; the spores are invisible to the naked eye and float through outdoor and indoor air. Mold may begin growing indoors when mold spores land on surfaces that are wet. There are many types of mold, and none of them will grow without water or moisture.
Mold tends to grow in places with a lot of moisture, such as around leaks in roofs, windows or pipes, or where there has been flooding. Mold can also grow on many different surfaces. For example, mold grows on surface like wood, tile, cardboard, paint, wallpaper, insulation, carpet and drywall just to name few.
