Water Damage and Mold Damage – Rigby Home

Water damage led to mold damage at this Rigby home. A shower pan cracked and began leaking in the master bathroom. We first constructed a containment area to prevent mold spores from spreading through the house while we performed mold remediation. We had no choice but to remove the flooring and drywall. They were severely infected with mold and the structural material beneath and behind them required direct drying. Air movers and air scrubbers were placed in the affected area to dry building materials and purify the air. Once dry we applied an anti-microbial sealant to the structural wood materials to prevent future microbial growth. Reconstruction was the final phase and the one the homeowners liked best.
