A toilet had overflowed causing this bathroom to need a complete remodel. On www.homeguides.com they state that Toilet overflows are most likely the result of either a blockage or an error in the tank float mechanism that regulates water flow. Most toilets feature a supply line near the bottom side of the bowl. The line should have a valve. Turn the valve counterclockwise to stop water flow to the toilet.
