Water on the wood floors
12/21/2020 (Permalink)
Our crews went out to this home because they had a leaky fridge causing the wood floor to get extremely wet. When water penetrates the wood flooring it can lead to swell against each other, buckle or even warp. If left untreated it can also lead to mold underneath the wood flooring.
Mold growth can become an issue if the water starts to seep down into the wood and then into the plywood. Mold tends to flourish in dark damp spaces so water + wood + dark space = an amazing breading ground for mold!
