Kitchen or indoor pool?

Water disasters can happen in almost any part of your home. One of the most common places for it to happen however is the kitchen. The kitchen has many different factors that can contribute to water issues. Fridge, dishwasher, water lines to fridge, sink, etc.  There are steps you can take however after a water disaster occurs in your home.

1. Your going to want to turn off the water and power in your kitchen area. You want to try to stop anymore water from coming out.
2. Next you will want to call your insurance company right away to see what is covered.
3. And finally you will want to call a cleaning and restoration company to come out and asses the damage. They will let you know if this is something you can fix yourself or if a professional will need to assist you with.
